Stitch Fix for Grandma!! WHAT?

Hiya Peeps!! Kerri here...

So, remember how I told you my mom was at my house when I received my 2nd Stitch Fix box? Well, she was soooo darn excited about it that she decided to try it for herself. Her box arrived yesterday and she brought it over today for a little mom/daughter fashion show and manicure party! I know, I know. We're so fancy.

Here is how Stitch Fix works:

1. Create a Style profile on the Stitch Fix Website

2. Have 5 handpicked items that fit your style profile delivered to your house.
3. Keep what you like and check out online. Send back the rest in a pre-paid envelope.
4. Look fabulous at work or while you're out playing!!

It takes about 10 minutes to fill out your style profile online, and it is super fun and easy, because you get to choose different outfits that best represent you. I love this part! You can also go back in and tweak your profile, which I have done several times. Just for fun!

This really is the easiest service in the world. There is no pressure to keep anything. If you don't like anything, they charge you a $20 styling fee, but if you keep at least one item, the $20 fee goes toward the cost of that item, and shipping is FREE both ways. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!

Well, my mom and I are going to Seattle next week to visit my baby brother and she was so excited to see if any of the pieces her stylist picked out for her would work on our trip. Well, her stylist came through BIG TIME! Just wait and see...

Here is her style card that came with her box, complete with ideas on what she could pair each clothing item with. I love this!!

And I just love how her stylist put a bow around her gorgeous pile of clothes! What a cute little added touch! Aren't they beautiful??

So here's what she got. I'll try to re-create what she said about each piece the best I can...

Item number one... the Adora ankle length colored skinny jean!

When my mom first looked at these, she was like, "They're kidding right? There is NO way those are going to fit me!" I mean, they were VERY skinny and quite bold for a grandma to wear, but she tried them on and....BOOM BABY!!!

She's rocked the face off those jeans!! She COULD not believe how well they fit! She kept saying, "How did they do this?? How could they know my size??" Incredible, I tell you! She wants another pair in dark denim, and ummm, so do I!!

Next up...the Trinidad Chevron Striped Henley Blouse. We both loved this one immediately AND it matches the jeans perfectly, as you can see above!

She paired it with her denim skirt and it was AMAZING...comfy, cute, super pretty colors, LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I especially love the little green button details.

Item #3-the McKinley Abstract Printed Short Sleeve Blouse. She didn't ooh and ahh over this one when we took it out of the box, but she looked darn cute in it when she put it on!

Even her doggy Cooper wanted to get in on the action in this picture! Isn't he ADORBS???
After she tried it on, she still wasn't sure about it because she didn't know if she would be limited with what she could wear with it. So, not sure about this one...

Okay, item #4-the Polly Graphic Chevron Print Tie Waist Tunic (WHOA. That is a mouthful!) My mom had specifically asked for tops she could wear with black leggings, and I just love how they listened to her request and delivered the perfect item!

Isn't this TO. DIE. FOR.?? And it fits her sooo well! I love the bold chevron and the longer length-perfectly perfect with her leggings!!

Last one...the Renesme Geo Print Faux Wrap Dress. This one literally took my mom's breath away the minute she saw it. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, girls!!

Well, let me tell you..my mom can rock this dress like nobody's business!  The fit was perfect, the color made her eyes stand out, and the length was just where she wanted it, not too short and not too long!

Just a grandma and her dog...looking fantastic in her new dress!

Well, there you have it! Even grandmas LOVE Stitch Fix! Can you even believe how cute my mom looks in all her new stuff?? And it all fit her PERFECTLY. And she decided to keep not one, not two, not three, but ALL FIVE items because if you keep all 5, they give you 25% off your entire box! Winner winner Chicken Dinner!!!

My mom said today was like Christmas in August! And the best part is, she can schedule her own fixes. She hasn't scheduled another fix yet, but when she does, she already knows she would like them to send her another pair of skinny jeans and a flowy cardigan for Fall!
When we checked her out, we made sure to leave detailed notes about each piece, what she liked or didn't like so much, so her stylist could know her even better, although they did a pretty awesome job this time!

If you are intrigued, you can check it out here and if you use my referral code, I receive a credit when your first Fix is shipped so then I can keep on blogging about it and showing you fashion show pictures of me and my moms!!

Stitch Fix is THE BOMB ladies! My mom is now hooked. You probably will be too! And guess what?? My new Stitch Fix box arrives TOMORROW!!! GIDDY DANCE!!!

XOXO Kerri B
