  9. Heidi-Thank you sooo much! What an honor! I just love your blog too!

Kristen-I got the carpet squares at Ikea for $3 each. I have a big rug that has 20 squares so I just needed 4 more and these were perfect!

Amanda-The fabric is from IKEA and the fabric for the seat cushions is from Jo-Ann's.
Thanks everyone for your sweet comments! :)

  15. I'd be a happy kid if this were my room. It's so child-friendly, and it can definitely bring out the artist within each child. Great job on those cutie carpet squares!

  17. Hi there!
I am currently in the process of organsing my classroom for this year. This is my first year of teaching (!!!!) and am a little unsure of a few things.
My question is, how do your students handle your room? I love, love, love the look of it, however, throughout all of my studies, it has been impressed upon me the importance of not over-stimulating children. I love the displays throughout your classroom (especially the Wowzie Writing, I've incorporated that into my classroom set up!), but I worry that it may be a little too much for me as a first year and for Year One students.
How do your kids go with the room?
    Thanks
    Jem :)
